Important Notice: End of Support for Non-Compliant ZoneAlarm Products

New U.S. Department of Commerce Regulations

As of June 14th, 2024, and no later than by September 29th, 2024, US vendors are required to adhere to the US Department of Commerce regulations described in document 2024-13532 issued on June 14th, 2024. Impact on ZoneAlarm Customers

While recent ZoneAlarm products already comply with the US DoC regulations, some customers are still using outdated versions, which will be non-compliant as of September 29th, 2024.

To ensure continued security and compliance, these customers must upgrade their products before the specified deadline. Customers with a valid ZoneAlarm Extreme Security or ZoneAlarm Pro Antivirus + Firewall subscription can update their subscription for free to the new versions, ZoneAlarm Extreme Security NextGen or ZoneAlarm Pro Antivirus + Firewall NextGen, which complies with US DoC regulations.

Each customer received upgrade information and instructions by email. These instructions can be found in the customers’ “My Account” page.

Check Point will end support for non-compliant ZoneAlarm versions on September 29th, 2024, affecting both US and non-US customers

Existing installations will continue functioning but no longer receive critical security updates or virus definition files. Also, there will be no option to install any of these products after the designated date.
