Critical Scan, scans critical area of the file system and OS. This is a faster scan and can be done more frequently. Full Scan, scans all files and folders including any connected USB storage devices. The Critical Scan can be started from the home screen of ZoneAlarm.Clicking on the Scan button will begin the Critical Scan. The Full Scan can be started by clicking on the Antivirus icon from the home screen of ZoneAlarm. To start the scan click on Full Scan. When either the Critical Scan or Full Scan have began an information window will display what is being scanned, the number of files scanned and a completion bar.If you wish to let the scan continue and close the information window click the Close button. If you need to Pause the scan click on the Pause button. To resume the paused scan click the Green Arrow button.If you want to abort and stop the scan click the Stop button. When a scan has completed you will see the message the Scan Completed Successfully along with the total number of files scanned.
