  Hello,

  Yes ZoneAlarm can scan a USB hard drive connected to your PC with a few easy settings.

  • Open ZoneAlarm
  • Open the Antivirus/Anti-spyware Settings
  • Goto Advanced settings
  • Select Scan Target, Make sure your external USB drive is selected to be scanned by checking the box so that the green check mark appears next to Scan (see example below)
  • Click the OK button

  Now when you scan your system the USB drive will be scanned also.

  Note: Only Full scan and Full scan with archives files will scan your external USB drive
