macOS 26.x Full Disk Access Required

The following steps will help you install ZoneAlarm for Mac on macOS 26.x and or if you get the error message that macOS Full Disk Access Required.

  1. During install if you have received the following alert.
    Navigate to Security & Privacy and then to Full Disk Access.
    Or click the Open System Preferences button.

  2. Click on + to add new entry.

  3. You will be prompted to input your Mac sign-in password and then click Modify Settings.

  4. Now navigate to/Library/Application Support/Checkpoint/Anti Ransomware

    Select in the dropdown you Mac drive name. In this example its Macintosh HD. Yours may be different.

  5. Next click the Library folder then Application Support folder.

  6. Next click the Checkpoint folder then Anti Ransomware folder.
    5.2 nav to.png


     
  7. Select cpard and click ok or Open button.

  8. You will be brought back to the Full Disk Access menu,  Click on +

  9.  Navigate to:  /Library/Application Support/Checkpoint/Threat Emulation
    8. Nav to.png



     
  10.  Select cpted and click ok or Open button.

  11.  You will be brought back to the Full Disk Access menu.
    Be sure the following entries are present: 
    cpard
    cpted
    efr-mon-epsec 

    Also that all 3 are enabled and turned on as shown below.

  12.  Now ZoneAlarm will be active and running on your Mac with os 26.x
