ZoneAlarm Firewall and Antivirus Next Gen blocking Chrome update

The two last weeks, I have been confronted with a problem on many PCs:

Chrome is failing to update. Also using the Chrome full installer, it stops with error 0x80040707
Trying to stop ZA before Chrome update did not solve the problem. The only solution I found was to de-install ZA AV Next Gen, Restart the PC and then try to update the browser again.
Then, it worked: Chrome is up to date!
Finally, I re-installed ZA Firewall and Antivirus Pro (the legacy version): the PC is working properly and I hope the next Browser update will go thru without problems.

I am using ZA Firewall and Antivirus Next Gen on more than 10 PCs and I'm not convinced that this new software version is 100% tested:

Some machines were freezing, hanging... I saw also a BSOD !
After Restart and removal from the Next Gen software, everything get back to a nice working state.

I'll be discouraging users from upgrading to Next Gen until all these childhood illnesses are fixed.
