A good friend of mine is running ZA (not the extreme). Based on his description of sys performance I think he may have embedded malware running from boot. I was trying to see if he could scan his system with ZA on thumb drive. I asked ZA support and they said to right click the drive and select scan. I tried again, explaining that I wanted to know if ZA had the option to create a bootable thumb drive for scanning and the guy again misunderstood. So. here we go to put it simply:

1) DOES ZONE ALARM HAVE THE OPTION TO CREATE A BOOTABLE THUMB DRIVE FOR SCANNING?

2) If ZA does not have that option, is the only alternative to take out the drive, put it on another system with ZA and scan it as an external drive?

NOTE: The person in question is a very nice guy but not very computer literate. I'm running ZA Extreme myself but I can talk him through the process if it's the same for both versions. He's 3+ hours away so I'd rather not drive there to do this. Thanks in advance.
