Every week or so when I open ZA Next Gen I get the message (in RED) "Anti virus Signatures out of date."


I click on UPDATE button and it immediately updates. Sometimes it doesn't; and I don't know what to do!


I thought this process was automatic and there is no way to determine when ZA last updated itself or to, in fact, do it manually (every day, if necessary)


Additionally, how do you clear the items in Quaratine. There appears no way to delete the stored malware?


BTW I love your product and have been a devoted user since you started with Zone Labs

  • I have never seen an update button and have always wondered how to manually update.

    Somethings just satisfying about ensuring you have the latest definitions and double check - but It is nice that ZA takes care of all that tho too.

    I would like to see an option to clear the quarantined malware too.

    and like Malcom I have been a devoted users since the Zone Labs days.

    Why can't we get answers?

  • I have the same. I received daily updates and a notice of that, but last Thursday was the last update i saw in events.

    Windows is now saying my anti virus is not up to date.

    When i open Zonealarm it says RED i am not protected, i click update and it say GREEN you are protected, but it still says last update event was last Thursday (it is now Monday.
