Is my laptop too slow for current version?

Hi - have been using ZoneAlarm Free Firewall version: 15.8.109.18436 Vsmon version: 15.8.107.18436 Driver version: 15.1.29.17237 on windows 8.0 with 1.4 Ghz processor okay. Will current version work on my slow pc. In specs on softpedia it says 2 GHz or faster processor?

    Hello Ben,

    We recommend at minimum 2.0ghz CPU to run ZoneAlarm, and only Win 10 and 7 are compatible with the latest version of the Free Firewall. 

    ZA Free Firewall System Requirements

    • Microsoft® Windows® 7, 10 All versions
    • 32-bit / 64-bit, 2 GB RAM
    • 2 GHz or faster processor
    • 1.5GB of available hard-disk space
    • Microsoft .NET framework
    • Version 3.5 or later
    • Note: If a supported Microsoft .NET Framework is not installed, it will be installed with ZoneAlarm
    • Web Secure Chrome Extension
    • Google Chrome (All versions)
